Print and bind your bachelor's thesis in Düsseldorf
Your thesis is finished—now the right print job matters. At Rudolph Druck & Copyshop in Düsseldorf-Unterbach, we print and bind Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Diploma theses, as well as dissertations. Choose between metal spiral binding, adhesive binding, and hardcover with optional embossing.
Printing and binding: an overview of costs
For theses, a black-and-white page costs €0.10 and a color page costs €0.45. Binding costs are additional: metal spiral and glue binding cost €3.50 each, while a hardcover binding costs €38.00. We charge €8.00–€10.00 per line for embossing. You can find further printing services in our Price list.
For theses, we prefer to use 100 g/m² paper. Our digital printing systems are calibrated several times a day to ensure consistent reproduction of text and images. We coordinate your university's specifications regarding format, paper, and binding with you before printing.
Metal spiral binding: easy to flip through
With this binding method, the sheets are punched and joined with a wire ring. The pages can be turned a full 360 degrees—practical for extensive documents and calendars. Transparent covers and colored textured cardstock are available for the front and back.
Up to approximately 100 sheets can be bound using 80 g/m² paper. Metal spiral binding costs €3.50 and is usually ready immediately. For calendars, we can add a thumb cut and a hanger upon request.

Perfect binding: your work as a softcover
Perfect binding (glue binding) gathers your pages into a handy softcover format. The contents are protected by a cardstock cover or a combination of a transparent front sheet and a cardstock back. A spine tape can cover the glued area on the spine; printing a title directly onto light-colored cardstock is also an option.
Binding costs €3.50. Please allow approximately 2–3 hours for production. We will arrange a schedule for the entire print job with you.

Hardcover and embossing: a sturdy binding
For a sturdy book cover, we produce hardcovers in-house using bookbinding leather or genuine linen. You can choose from various cover colors and materials; custom formats are also possible. The binding is permanent and cannot be opened again later.
Hardcover binding costs €38.00 and takes approximately 2–3 working days. Embossing in black, gold, silver, or white costs an additional €8.00–€10.00 per line.

Can I have only my pre-printed pages bound?
We also bind loose documents. Please let us know the number of sheets, paper thickness, and desired binding method so we can determine the best option.
